TIP #2: Do you notice any new or unfamiliar charges to your phone bill?

Thank you visiting KnowYourPhoneBill.org, designed to help you know how to recognize un-authorized charges on your phone bills. As part of our on-going efforts we provide quick and simple tips you can use each month to monitor your bill.

TIP #2
Do you notice any new or unfamiliar charges to your phone bill? Check the details of your bill to identify new purchases or service providers, and find out if you or a member of your household authorized any new charges. For example, did you subscribe to a new online game? Have you made any long-distance calls through a reduced-rate service?

If you do not remember making any such purchases, call the toll-free number noted on your bill.

Online merchants are required to have consumers authenticate the phone bill
transaction, and must provide customers with complete terms and conditions, letter of authorization, and confirmation before you can sign up for a service?
